Shoppers flee as man stabbed to death in horrific Harrow attack
Shoppers were forced to run away from a busy London high-street on Sunday afternoon after a man was stabbed to death and two teenagers were attacked.
Police officers and ambulance staff were called to St. Anns Road, Harrow at around 7.15pm following reports that a 23-year-old man had been attacked with a knife. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Two teenagers, aged 17 and 19 respectively were also attacked, and they were taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Metropolitan police have confirmed that they have launched a murder investigation.
Detective Inspector Claire Hine, from the Specialist Crime Command, said: “This is another tragic incident in which a young man has lost his life.
“We are working tirelessly to establish the circumstances of what happened and find those responsible; and I would appeal for any witnesses to come forward with information they believe may assist the investigation.”
