Axe and knives seized from Warrington home
Cheshire police seized a number of offensive weapons, including an axe and a knife from a home on Leicester Street, Warrington today in a joint operation with Torus housing association.
The collaboration, set up to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area, issued a community protection notice and removed numerous people from the property.
Warrington Police took to twitter in the aftermath of the visit, stating: 'Warrington Central Beat team and Torus Housing have attended an address on Leicester Street in a joint Op to tackle ongoing ASB. A CPN was issued at an address, drugs and weapons seized and a number of persons removed from a property'.
